JHK’s Family Fishing Day brings together students, families, and the community for a land-based learning experience that celebrates local culture and traditions. By fostering collaboration between the school, families, and local organizations, the event strengthens relationships, supports student well-being, and deepens a sense of belonging.

About our School

Joseph H. Kennedy is a modern elementary school located in the heart of Matheson. The school offers French Immersion and English classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school has a beautiful library, a computer lab and a learning centre complete with a 3-D printer,  and a large gymnasium. Extra-curricular sports activities are offered during the day and the students enjoy the modern playground equipment during recesses.
